November is Parent Engagement Month

Elbert County Schools is committed to working together with parents to improve learning opportunities for our students at school and home. Every year the state of Georgia recognizes the month of November as Parent Engagement Month.  Earlier this week, we held our first Parent Conference Day of the school year.  Thank you to all parents and guardians who met with school staff on November 4.

AEW 2014American Education Week (November 17-21) is always celebrated the week prior to the week of Thanksgiving.  We will kick off the week with teacher appreciation activities on Monday, November 17.  This year, Parents Day will be held on Tuesday, November 18, and Education Support Professionals Day on Wednesday, November 19.  We look forward to an exciting week welcoming parents into our schools and celebrating the successes of school staff.
